How To: Dear Reader Letter

Dear Reader,
A "Dear Reader Letter" outlines a writing assignment. By addressing your readers, you are providing an introduction to your topic and a preview of what will be discussed in your paper.
Your letter should answer the following questions:
1) What is your topic? Why is the topic important to you or why did you select it?
2) Explain the text(s) that you will use.
3) What insight should the reader of your paper walk away with?
4) Which part of the paper will be the most challenging for you to write? Why?
5) Tell me anything else I should know (questions, concerns, discussions) about your essay.
