To All My Students...

I can remember, with a very specific clarity, the first day I returned to SJS as a teacher. Getting to know you all has been a joy I never could have predicted: days spent talking about literature, forcing you to stalk sentences and read wonderful (though, at times, challenging) authors, and watching you grow as readers, thinkers, and writers. I am so grateful for your work ethic and compassion-- & very proud to be your teacher. Each & every wish, gift, card, and get-well note you sent this holiday season is truly heartwarming. Thank you. I wish you and all of your families a Merry Christmas, as well as love, peace, and happiness this New Year.
